As an international student, you can take Swedish courses alongside your main studies as they are given during afternoon and evening time. Swedish for International Students is offered to all exchange and graduate (master's) students.

Course credits cannot be included in a master's degree from Stockholm University, but counts as any other course for exchange students. These courses can be added tuition-free as extra courses for fee-paying graduate students.

Master's students who planning to stay and work in Sweden after graduation will improve their chances of finding a qualified job significantly with some basic Swedish skills.

Information about registration for Swedish language courses is given during the Welcome Activities at Stockholm University.
