An e-mail with instructions about how to apply for housing will be sent to all incoming exchange students and posted on the Housing Office webpage: Housing for Exchange Students

  • All accepted students are notified via e-mail how and when to apply for housing.
  • Please make a note of the date when e-mails are sent and check your junk mail if it isn't there.
  • Contact the Housing Office if you didn't get an e-mail as indicated on their webpage.

If you were not offered housing, you need to find housing on your own. Please note that housing scarce in Stockholm – therefore - please see the SU housing guide and start looking for housing well before the semester starts. Be aware of scams – never pay before you have keys and a contract. If you have a documented disability, please contact your SU international coordinator.

There is usually a last minute housing lottery held during orientation week for students who weren’t offered housing before arrival.
