In Swedish: IMS går över till distansundervisning

Through online teaching and examinations we hope to contribute to a reduced spread of the coronavirus, while keeping our operations up and running.

Many teachers use the e-meeting service Zoom for lectures and seminars. Learn how to use Zoom, free of charge for students at Stockholm University.

The teacher responsible for the course will give you further instructions through the learning platform Athena. Our overall goal is that courses and programmes should, as far as possible, be implemented as planned, but in the form of distance learning. We apologize for any inconvenience, and hope that you will be able to adapt to the current situation.

  • The Student Offices are closed until further notice. But you can reach us by mail or phone. Here you can find all necessary contact information.
  • As of March 18 mars 2020 the department’s premises in Garnisonen and The Film House (Filmhuset) will be open only to employees, and all study areas will be closed until further notice.
  • The JMK library is only open for scheduled visits until further notice. Please visit the library's web page for opening hours and further information. Books can also be returned at Stockholm University Library at Frescati, weekdays 10-11.
