This is how Swedish media portrayed the 2017 terror attack in Stockholm visually

Previously researchers have examined how the media depicted the terror attack in Stockholm on April 7, 2017, when a hijacked truck plowed into crowds, killing five and injuring several others. But only one researcher has explored the visual aspect of it. Media researcher Maria Nilsson, Stockholm University, has mapped out how the Swedish media described the terror attack visually through the lenses of their own photographers and through visual eyewitness contributions of pictures and videos.

Cultural journalism played an important role in the coverage of the 2015 terror attacks in Paris

A new Nordicom study by media researchers Kristina Riegert and Andreas Widholm, Stockholm University, shows that cultural journalism played an important role in the Swedish coverage of the 2015 terror attacks in Paris.
