This is how Swedish media portrayed the 2017 terror attack in Stockholm visually

Previously researchers have examined how the media depicted the terror attack in Stockholm on April 7, 2017, when a hijacked truck plowed into crowds, killing five and injuring several others. But only one researcher has explored the visual aspect of it. Media researcher Maria Nilsson, Stockholm University, has mapped out how the Swedish media described the terror attack visually through the lenses of their own photographers and through visual eyewitness contributions of pictures and videos.

Professor: Right-wing populism wants to create moral panic

"First the right-wing populists find a problem, they inflate it, and finally they offer a solution. They want to create moral panic in society, and it is in their interest to sustain the problem," professor Michal Krzyzanowski, University of Liverpool/Örebro University, told the IMS website during his visit in Stockholm this week.
